We are extremely proud to announce that we have been appointed to design and install the Sprinkler Fire Protection System to the Scalpel Tower – Lime Street, which is located in the heart of The City of London
The new office tower, designed by Kohn Pederson Fox, stands right in the heart of the cluster that includes the Cheesegrater and Gherkin, alongside the Lloyds and Willis buildings.
It's also a whopper. At 190 meters tall, it'll loom 10 meters over than The Gherkin like an encroaching picnic knife.
Just 12 years ago we relocated our head office in Basildon, Essex. We purchased the £1M modern premises and have regularly expanded it, to ensure our growth is achieved efficiently.
We are now delighted to announce we have opened additional new offices, in the City of London. The offices located at 150 Minories, London, EC3N, will directly assist our many ongoing major projects in London, plus allow us to enhance our services to existing clients in London and prospective new clients.
This compliments our nationwide network, with regional offices in south west and north east, plus our head office in Basildon, Essex. Furthermore we have an extensive national network of directly employed staff and service engineers, recently adding more in the north west and Scotland.
The new T-shaped development will provide 26,000sqm of category 'A' office space over 21 floors, served by 11 lifts.
Designed by architect Sheppard Robson, the building is designed to be a sustainable City headquarters, with its landscaped square and distinctive, towering architecture.
The Sprinkler Fire Protection System will include
- over 7500 sprinkler heads
- multi-stage electric fire pumps
- wet riser system together with 230m3 and 90m3 water storage tanks
Completion of the sprinkler project is expected early October 2016.
