YY Building – Project Update

Having secured 113,000 sq ft  £1.2 million CAT B fitout project in December 2024, we are proud to report that, after six months of dedicated effort, our team has brought the project to practical completion. Final testing and commissioning will be taking place over the coming weeks to fully sign off the works.

This ambitious project involved the complete CAT B sprinkler system installation across five floors of a high-spec commercial development, alongside the integration of IG55 gas suppression systems to protect critical MER/SER rooms. Our in-house design team provided full 3D coordination throughout the project, ensuring a seamless fit within the building’s complex architectural and services layout.

The result is a state-of-the-art fire protection system that not only meets all current compliance standards but is also designed to maximise safety for occupants. By combining sprinkler coverage with advanced gas suppression, we’ve delivered a multi-layered fire safety strategy tailored to the specific needs of a modern high-rise environment.
